Made on traditional handlooms or power looms. Mainly used as floor coverings, floor runners for furnishing stairs or corridors. Also used for wall paneling and ceiling lining. Quality of the matting is determined by the type of yarn used and weave. Available in natural, bleached, solid colours, and a multitude of designs/patterns made by weave and colour combinations with or without latex backing.
